Balenciaga

Our collaboration with Balenciaga began in 2017, when the house asked us to make work for a Balenciaga window display at Colette in Paris. In 2017 we also made figures for Balenciaga stores: three for the new store at 804 Madison Avenue in New York (June 2017), figures for the new store on avenue Montaigne in Paris (October 2017), and a figure for the Balenciaga Copyshop on the ground floor of Dover Street Market London (December 2017), dressed in an outfit from the autumn/winter 17 runway with Triple S sneakers. In September 2018 we made 18 male and female figures for Balenciaga's takeover of the Corner Shop at Selfridges on Oxford Street, London, for the launch of the Balenciaga Track sneaker; the figures wore T-shirts, hoodies and jeans made for the collaboration. In 2025 we made a figure for Balenciaga by Demna, the exhibition of Demna's ten years at the house, held at Kering's headquarters at 40 rue de Sèvres in Paris from 26 June to 9 July 2025: a sculpture based on the closing look of the Summer 22 "Red Carpet" collection presentation, which Demna had worn himself.
