Red Cross

In October 2014 we made Solange, a sculpture of an elderly woman with a cane and a suitcase, for the Croix-Rouge française (French Red Cross) campaign "Les vieux feraient mieux de rester chez eux !" ("Old people had better stay at home!"), made with the agency Rapp. Solange was placed in a street in Paris facing a painted wall with that line, and a one-minute film directed by Jean-Marc Gosse of Rapp tells her story and shows passers-by reacting. The campaign, launched on 17 October 2014, was about elderly people who can no longer pay for help at home, and asked for donations of 7 euros, the amount people pay out of their own pocket each day for that help.
